Our main goal...
To link our community corrections with the local Faith communities

The two main avenues for reaching our goal...
  • Religious television broadcasting

  • Follow-up Visitation with Inmates

  • Religious television broadcasting
The first avenue that will connect Community Corrections to your community will be the religious television broadcasting.

  • A team from your faith community will schedule a time with the Chaplain's Office to come to our facility and into our telivision studio to record your worship service.

  • Your team will come, and we will record your worship for up to one hour. This program may include any or all of the following: teaching/preaching, music, study, discussion and/or prayer.

  • Please note that those of you who wish to provide music (whether that be as a praise and worship team, hymn sing along or choral presentations) will need to bring all necessary materials with you (such as instruments, lyrics to the songs, etc.)

  • Preparing to air...
After this is accomplished, your recording will be edited by our Chaplain and then aired to inmates via the networked television programming system here in the facility.

    Setting a schedule...
We would like to put your ministry team on our worship rotation schedule.

  • This would involve a set commitment from your team to come and share in worship.

  • You may schedule for once a month, twice a month, or a weekly time slot.

  • The Chaplain's office will coordinate schedules(see the Ministry Involvement form)

  • Follow-up Visitation with Inmates
The second avenue that will connect Community Corrections to your community will be follow-up visitation. After inmates participate in worship with you via television, they may desire a visit from you for prayer or further religious needs. The Chaplain's office will coordinate the follow-up process as follows:

  • Inmates will fill out a formal request form for a follow-up visit.

  • The form will come to the Chaplain's office

  • The Chaplain's office will contact you, make you aware of the request, and inform you of the facilities office hours.

  • Your community will follow-up with the inmate(s) through public visitation (see the visitation link)
